研討會

唉,每到月底總是有無限感慨
有種一個月過的比一個月還快的感覺

五月底有兩場研討會,都是系上主辦的
一場是學會的年會,另一場則是東亞研討會
年會由於網路上可以下載文章,所以即便去了會場也沒有很想聽的衝動
加上第二天要報告,所以就更無心去聽人報告

東亞研討會則比較不一樣
這個研討會全程使用英文,包括演講和發問,而且沒有及時口譯
但是因為有一堂課改成去聽演講+對東亞福利體制小有興趣
所以雖然沒有聽完全程,但也稍微聽了一下
由於實在很久沒有苦練英文了,所以聽起來實在很吃力
尤其是一些以英語為母語的演講者,
他們講起來速度就很快,
腔調也聽不太懂,大致上只能看文章或ppt再配合聽力
實在很難用聽的就完全知道他在幹嘛
不過像一些南韓或者台灣的學者,他們的英文就比較容易聽懂了
如果又有ppt輔助的話,更能夠了解文章的內容
而且我發現呀..這次來的南韓學者,
有些唸英文聽起來的腔調跟日本人很像,就聽不太懂
有些字即使他照著ptt唸但還是很難完全聽懂,看來腔調這種東西果然很奇妙

不過我ㄧ直覺得這是因為原本我對英文聽力就沒有很厲害的關係
就像一些大陸的旅遊節目,
即使是內地的人,他們講話也是有腔調呀,但是起碼說的還是中文
所以還是能夠聽出來他們在講什麼
所以應該是原本就對英文不熟,所以才會造成不同的腔調聽起來有差的結果
如果是老師們的話,應該是什麼腔調都聽的懂吧?!

不過我覺得參加東亞研討會的人實在有點少耶....
扣除掉本系所的人之外,特地從外面來或者本校生其他系所的人的比例實在有點低
可我覺得這議題還不錯呀,又是國際的研討會,應該是機會難得才是
怎麼會那麼少人參與呢....可能是非假日的關係吧..

明天就要迎接六月鳳凰花開的月份了....
